Community Outreach Program

• Experience rural healthcare first-hand through our Community Outreach Program. This immersive placement allows you to live and work in a local village for a week. You’ll gain rare clinical experience while contributing to healthcare in underserved areas.

The Community Outreach Program will include

• Medical Camps
• Dental outreach
• Mental Health Program
• Community outreach program

Your outreach experience includes:

• A 3–5-day medical placement in a rural clinic
• Shadowing local healthcare workers managing limited resources
• Cultural activities and excursions in the afternoons
• Homestay accommodation with a local family
• Transportation and a dedicated ZAHESO village guide

In the mornings, you’ll visit primary healthcare facilities and observe the daily challenges of rural medicine. In the afternoons, you’ll explore local traditions and create lifelong memories.
